Psychologist | Personal Assistant to Dr Kassy Drosou Associate
Sotiris Floros is a licensed Psychologist based in Athens, Greece. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychiatry from the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has also completed specialist postgraduate training in Clinical Psychopathology.
Sotiris has a particular professional interest in Autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions, alongside clinical psychopathology, psychological assessment, and the interface between psychology, psychiatry, and the legal system.
A significant part of his professional development has focused on autism and neurodiversity. He completed an Erasmus+ placement at Autism Spectrum Psychotherapy in London, where he gained experience within a specialist neurodiversity-affirming service. Following his placement, he continued as a volunteer observer, participating in multidisciplinary clinical case discussions and clinical supervision. He has also completed specialist postgraduate training in Autism: Understanding, Education and Intervention, further strengthening his expertise in autism-informed and neurodivergent-affirming practice.
Sotiris is committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centred support. He recognises that every individual has unique strengths, experiences, communication styles, and support needs, and he is passionate about contributing to an environment where people feel understood, valued, and accepted.
At Autism Spectrum Psychotherapy, Sotiris is responsible for the initial screening of referrals and serves as Personal Assistant to Dr Kassy Drosou. He supports the coordination of new referrals and enquiries, helping to ensure that each individual is matched with the clinician and service most appropriate to their needs. His role is instrumental in providing a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience from the very first point of contact.
