Roxana is a BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor and Counselling Psychologist in the final stage of doctoral training. She provides a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences, develop greater self-understanding and work towards meaningful and lasting change. Roxana has extensive experience supporting autistic individuals, people with ADHD and learning disabilities across educational, community, specialist mental health and NHS settings. Her work has included supporting autistic children and young people within educational settings, working on a specialist learning disability and autism inpatient service, and providing counselling and psychological therapy to neurodivergent clients within both NHS Talking Therapies and community counselling services.

Alongside her specialist work with neurodivergent individuals, Roxana has
experience supporting clients with complex and co-occurring neurodevelopmental and mental health difficulties. This has included working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and bereavement, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, self-harm, relationship challenges and life transitions, as well as supporting individuals with emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD/BPD) and other complex mental health presentations within specialist inpatient settings. Having worked with children, adolescents and adults across a range of services, Roxana has developed a deep appreciation of the unique strengths, challenges and lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals, as well as the complex ways emotional and psychological difficulties can impact wellbeing, identity and relationships.

Roxana works from a neuro-affirmative and trauma-informed perspective. She recognises neurodiversity as a natural variation of human experience and values each client’s unique way of thinking, feeling and relating to the world. She understands that many neurodivergent individuals can experience challenges related to masking, sensory overwhelm, emotional regulation, relationships, self-esteem, burnout and navigating environments that may not accommodate their needs. Her aim is to provide a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, accepted and supported to explore their experiences in a way that honours both their strengths and the challenges they face.

As an integrative counsellor, Roxana draws upon person-centred, relational, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural approaches, tailoring therapy to each individual&’s unique needs. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy and works collaboratively with clients to help them gain insight, process difficult experiences, develop self-compassion and move towards the life they want to live.

Whether clients are seeking support with a specific difficulty, exploring their neurodivergent identity, or simply looking for a safe space to reflect and grow, Roxana works alongside them with empathy, curiosity and respect at a pace that feels right for them.

Roxana can offer therapy in person and online.
