Chartered Forensic Psychologist Associate

Rebecca Brisbane is a Forensic Psychologist, registered with the HCPC and chartered by the BPS. She has many years of experience working in forensic and clinical settings Rebecca utilises a compassionate, client-centred approach when working with individuals and their unique challenges. She is currently employed within a secure hospital where she is the lead psychologist working with people who have severe and enduring mental health difficulties. She also works independently to complete Psychological Risk Assessments.

 

Rebecca adopts a neuroaffirmative approach, recognising and valuing neurodiversity and utilising a strength based approach to help individuals achieve their goals. Her approach integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). She has a special interest in working with individuals with complex needs and whose patterns of behaviour are causing them difficulties.  Rebecca offers therapy online in the evening and during the weekends.
